This is a post of a Quicktime 7 movie made from Quartz Composer and so it will only run on a Macintosh running Tiger or better. This shows how a person can interact via sound with a video. Click the pic and then create some noise to make Sam Dance!

Here is a little piece I put together as a concept sketch for a collaboration with some friends. It blends together public domain footage from 1905 that I found in the Internet Archive, together with some recent video that I shot in the same location. Music is by my good friend Dave Toole.
